About the competition...
AMUROV is a national-level student competition organised by Marine Technology Society, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Club MTS-AUV in collaboration with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE AMU,
established to generate and enhance a community of innovators capable of making substantive contributions to the remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) domain.

Who can participate?
Anyone persuing undergraduate program and interested in ROVs can participate.
What is the registration fees?
₹5000 per team
Can we use onboard lithium-ion batteries for powering the vehicle?
Yes, You can.
Do we have to use computer vision to find the assigned shape balloons, or we can view the target zone with a camera and a monitor using tether.
You are required to use camera and monitor only. Camera needs to be fixed on the ROV.
Which will be assigned to us, balloon with a shape or balloon with specific sticker.

What is the weight and dimensions of the colored plastic balls?
Dimensions are there in the rule book (Refer section 11.3.2) Weight will max upto 100gm.
What is the weight and dimensions of the golden plastic ball?
Dimensions are same as that of colored plastic ball, only the golden ball is the heavier one.
Will the colored plastic balls are contained in a specific region?
Yes, they will be in a specific region.
How the golden ball is sticked to the surface, Does it need to be pulled with a gripper?
It will be placed not sticked. You may use the gripper to pick it up.
Can we attach and deattach a net over the rov during the competition.
Yes, that's possible.
